Anyone that says that Donald Trump was not inciting violence that day doesn't understand how rhetoric works and is just really gullible.

That speech can be read, instead of listened too... The transcript is online and free to access for anyone.
Trump paints a picture, creates a narrative, where the only way out is violence... because the democratic process, was taken away from his followers. If you lie and create narratives where there is only one possible option to "save your country", then don't pretend you are not the reason why people "fight like hell".

Trump screwed himself on this one. When trump suied the BBC......for reporting on how he was behind the insurrection on J6........that automatically opens trump up to "discovery" by BBC lawyers. Which means any evidence they had before can now be completely corroborated by the fact that now the BBC will have access to 100% of all evidence of how he was behind the insurrection..............even W.H. records......all written records and transcripts of conversations too............plus all evidence gathered by our media.
So instead of shutting the BBC up....he opened himself wide open to be proven guilty with public exposure of what the BBC found in their future repotting on this. Trump dropped the duit against them after realizing what he had done............but too late.

@ArishMell Name one instance where trump has repaid his supporters by doing ANYTHING he promised to do for them if they voted for him..........or has done anything that helped them.
He promised to lower the national debt......lower their taxes....lower food prices.....start no new wars........lower gas prices.....NEVER play golf while president......give them DOGE checks for $5000......tariff rebate checks of $2000......end the Ukraine War.....NEVER be involved with regime changes in any foreign country....
The list is over 100 bullshit lies he told them to get their votes and he has delivered a grand total of ZERO of what he promised. Even the cult know this............but they have spent so long defending him of eveything that if they admit now they were conned..........it would make them all look even dumber than we all think they are. @anythingoes477 I thknk he is getting worse, too. The more he tries to wriggle out of things, the deeper he becomes stuck. He is just not up to running a huge country that is also one the world's richest democracies; and it affects not only his fellow Americans but people all round the world..

@FreddieUK I DID see that edited tape. Fox ran it over and over again, because it pissed them off so badly. It caused a LOT of trouble here. People actually believed that Trump was inciting a riot...and of course Pelosi and Schumer struck up the band and tootled THAT news all over the country...AND used the tape to back up what they were saying.
If you wish to believe that any of this was done with a kindly motive by the BBC...I beg to disagree.

@4meAndyou There was no "game of interference" by anyone. Your accusation may have some merit if against a US service within the US; but not against a foreign country whose residents cannot vote in US elections.
The programme was not broadcast in the USA. It made no difference to the USA, its elections and its President. If Fox News, Pelosi & Schumer wanted to keep repeating it in the USA for their own ends, that's up to them.

@4meAndyou You saw a short opening extract of a much longer documentary. You could not have seen the whole thing for two reasons: 1) It wasn't shown in the US and 2) It would not suit Fox to show a balanced documentary. The 'facts' will now be judged in court, as Trump asked. The motives of a public service broadcaster in the UK (there was no US audience in mind) are to show impartially what's going on in the world, beholden to no-one.

@jshm2 The money means a lot to the British, but Trump has a fraudulent claim and is being called out on it by a public corporation not a private company that is beholden to him to survive. It is also prepared to prove that his other claims are not only false, they can be shown to be so.
