The economy isn't doing well with major job losses for 3 months in a row.

It's only going to get worse and long after the Trump presidency we'll be paying for it. Remember this when maga tells you it's what they voted for.

They are going to pretend it's not bad until democrats are in office and then blame them. They don't usually speed run the ruin so efficiently as they did this time so we'll see how well they manage the extra clock time. If dems take congress in midterms they'll probably admit things are going bad early but blame it on congressional dems.

@ViciDraco That's exactly what is going to happen, I know they'll try all that. Honestly I'm so confident that if we did not have Trump, we wouldn't be in this position. You cannot dismantle all those govt agencies, tariffs, ruin ally relationships and then have the economy doing well.

You just can't like this isn't even arguable. Trump is attempting to basically install a whole new economic system all at once. It's going to crash lol.

@ViciDraco Plus to add, the aggressive deportation scheme is even further as our country has always been founded on immigration. You cannot be isolationist and expect a good economy, you just can't. It's literally impossible. The United States would have be similar to North Korea then but given how large we are it wouldn't work.

I think world is adjusting , Trump is attempting to basically install a whole new economic system all at once- yes , winds are changing - worlds economy is less likely be based on dollar alone. For USA it may translate into permanent higher inflation. No crush , just slow degradation.

US-imposed tariffs on Canada are projected to cost 214,000 jobs in the USA. Trump was warned by Canada that imposing tariffs on Canadian goods crossing south over the border will be paid for by Americans, not Canadians. But Trump doesn't understand how the framework of tariffs actually works because he's not a businessman in the real world, which is why tariffs don't ever work even in ideal conditions even if Trump WAS a legitimate business man as advertised.
