Someone who has right-wing views isn't necessarily fascist. However, the Right is inherently authoritarian in that the policies are all about consolidating power at the top, in the hands of as few people as possible.
So someone who has right-wing views is, at the very least, in the same realm as authoritarian ideologies, like Fascism and Monarchy.

Likewise, I'm not a Communist, but as a Socialist, I'm in the same realm as Communism and maybe even Social Democracy.

I am a Marxist so I am good with that.

Regarding people who scream about everything being communist like it's the cold war. It's basically psyops and on purpose. Anything they say they don't really believe. If you engage in issues honestly, you can be broken down easily but to focus on fear, twist words, fan the flames all inspires doubt in the populace.

If you take narcissistic abuse, that's basically the same tactics.

Not that people are weak but people are flimsy with boundaries and if you know this, you can turn anything to political gain through predatory behavior.

"Communist" is as meaningless an insult as "Woke". Many of the people it is directed against won't find the label particularly insulting 😃 More disturbing is the need to create "enemies" and disparage the right of people to hold opinions and views different to your own.

The only truly unpatriotic people are those who seek to define patriotism narrowly and exclusively and cannot understand why others may feel differently. Oh, and those who don't pay their taxes . . obviously! 😉

If it isn't maga it's probably financial supported by the enemy so i see the point. If all the billions that's been invested in painting a trump as a bad guy and instead went to bettering the world we'll all be thriving not just his supporters

Both sides practice polarization - the media promotes segmentation and neatly carves up the market into dutiful groups whom they can program to and therefore sell advertising space.

It's a mindless deflection, for those unwilling to grapple with anything actually happening.
