As a former medical educator, i taught students and residents to never order any test unless it was clinically indicated and would lead to a change in therapy. If the military is now going to require anyone with "low testosterone" levels to take supplementation, they are going to do more harm then good! There are no good studies to show the benefit and certainly a lot of anecdotal studies to show the harm!

This is brave new world on steroids, pun intended!

This radically alter the constitutional basis of our command structure.

MAGA seems to be oblivious to all this. This is not about the "single-issue" they voted him in. This is about ALL issues.

It is bizarre!

I think Hegseth believes a higher testerosterone level will make them more bellicose and 'ard in battle.

I don't suppose he knows or cares that too high a level of the hormone reduces fertility, though.
