Puts egg on Trump's face. Trump tried to twist the whole red card affair into a veiled attack on Iran over that country's continuing resistance to US military bombardments ordered by Trump and Hegseth and the Strait of Hormuz flashpoint.
If the guy who's red carding Trump demanded be overturned wasn't a soccer player he'd probably have been deported from the US by ICE on some sort of trumped-up (sic) charges.

I haven't watched one match of the FIFA World Cup. Russia was given the red card by the sporting community, and FIFA won't answer our calls.
