Belgium knocks USA out of World Cup after Trump controversy.

USA has been knocked out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup by Belgium after Trump called FIFA to demand they make Folarin Balogun's one-match ban go away. FIFA obliged. Balogun had been given a red card after he fouled Bosnian player Tarik Muharemović.

American fans were not happy about it. Trump, president of USA, was also not happy and intervened in a sporting decision. Will he now call FIFA to ask that Belgium go home? The 4 goals didn't happen.

Puts egg on Trump's face. Trump tried to twist the whole red card affair into a veiled attack on Iran over that country's continuing resistance to US military bombardments ordered by Trump and Hegseth and the Strait of Hormuz flashpoint.

If the guy who's red carding Trump demanded be overturned wasn't a soccer player he'd probably have been deported from the US by ICE on some sort of trumped-up (sic) charges.
