Trump threatens to withdraw troops from Italy and Spain.

Remind me, please, why Trump is expecting NATO countries to get involved in a war which did not threaten a NATO ally, and which they did not start.

He just keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper..they're already setting up their own defense infrastructure...Boeing just lost that EWACs deal
@bookerdana Something I think ALL Americans dont get is that when Trump is gone, normal service will not be resumed. Other nations, concerning diplomacy, trade, defence and joint policy agreements have not been idle. Other deals are being struck almost immediately and America is losing not only the current deal, but the opportunity to do a future deal. America is no longer the worlds banker and no longer a trusted player in business or defence..
Just replacing all the half wit Ambassadors and trade deligates alone will occupy a whole term of the next administration. And the replacements will be greeted by a polite "Thanks, but no thanks"at almost every request for preferential treatment of the kind America is used to..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman just meme war,man
@whowasthatmaskedman yep! Once European and other factories and software solutions are ready, they're not just going to close if the USA somewhat recovers in 2028. But furthermore: the trust has been broken. Even though a majority doesn't seem to support this direction, everyone let it happen. The rest of the world has no reason to rely on a massive turnaround in 2028 not to be followed by another one in the current direction again in 2032 or 2036.
@NerdyPotato And as much as the world will be pragmatic about doing business with America again, there is still the matter of $US. Devaluing by the minute now. Long term contracts wont be signed in those for payement. The dollar has deflated over 10% against major players in the last year.😷
@whowasthatmaskedman thankfully the US debt isn't too high so there's a buffer. Oh wait...
@NerdyPotato You got a doubletake out of me with that one.😷
