I knew better, back in 1980 when TVs Donald Trump was first offered as a politics figure.
I'm still ignored and you're still ignoring my political views, as a country. Nothing we can say helps you know what we've told you!
I smell liars
@sree251 yes, you're pretending to have been fooled together, as a narrative community. It's not a group with plans, no reality is behind the claims, but together you'll stick with that story. No adults could have been fooled. But together you're definitely not sharing my kind of idea about who could have known what, or when. Imy completely stumped and not willing to even grasp what's behind the group.

No adults could have been fooled.

I am losing you here. If you are not fooled, why don't you open my eyes to your reality? Please, tell me.

Steps 2 and 3?
Your well-being is yours to restore. Choices too, are yours.

And to be clear, tucker carlson is a true racist. He pushed the great replacement theory. And he pushed the big lie to your faces while lamenting his broadcast rhetoric in private. And you knew it. Fox paid nearly a billion over those lies. You knew it.

All that you know...project 2025. You cheered elon musk and his doge. You knew that trump called for twenty million people be forcibly removed. You knew the j6 people were trying to take over. You knew what damage they did to those trying to protect us. You called them political prisoners. You cheered for their pardons.

So much that you knew. Yet you chose to vote for him. Three times? Ask yourself why that is. Let those answers haunt you.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
Do you think Hillary or Kamala would have been better? I don't.
BohoBabe · M
@whowasthatmaskedman I think the Democrats kinda understand this, but they're trying to do the bare minimum. They want to keep the workers just happy enough that they don't break out the pitchforks. Whereas the Republicans, it really feels like it's become a suicide cult. I guess they're thinking once they completely destroy the world, Elon Musk will fly them all to the moon.
@BohoBabe I agree. But those with the real assets dont care if they buy or sell in $ Pounds, Euros or Yuan. Money is international now. And since its no longer backed by gold, its only worth what people will offer for it. The $US is headed for the toilet roll😷

@sree251 I don't really know what to make of you. You don't speak or act like an American. You come across as a foreigner who is trying to learn American ways and to fit in, but you aren't entirely successful. It's strange to me that you were born and raised in Manhattan, again, you sound like a foreigner trying to pass as an American.

I have no idea if you are telling me the truth. I don't think you are being 100% honest, but perhaps in general, you are telling me as much truth as you can.

I don't buy that you are truly interested in a discussion. Your entire profile is about how everyone and everything is corrupt, and only you seem to see the truth. That's not a very humble or accepting attitude that I would expect to see in someone who is truly engaging genuinely, trying to learn and contribute to the discussion.

I also don't get why you aren't replying to the thread we have and keep creating a new one to reply to the conversation we are having.

You are pretty astute. As I told you my father was an investment banker. Mom was in the fashion business. Very soon after I was born, they took me along on their clothes making business venture in China. They were among the first Americans to venture there after Nixon and Kissinger normalized relations with the Chinese. I was a 3-month old baby in Shanghai with my parents who were supplying clothing made there for fashion brands (Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Gap, etc) in New York. I stayed there with them traveling back and forth till I was old enough to go to school. Mom is a snob. She made sure I did not grow up with a provincial American mind. After grade school, she sent me abroad to boarding schools in France. Mom makes sure I am not American. She would insist that I drive only BMWs and would howl when she comes to visit and find American beer in my fridge. I now drink only Peroni and Asahi Super Dry. Am I a foreigner to you now?

I have no idea if you are telling me the truth. I don't think you are being 100% honest, but perhaps in general, you are telling me as much truth as you can.

Why would I lie to you for? We are not here to get personal but only to discuss politics. Why do you care if I am American or not? There are a lot of non-Americans here.

You make me laugh. What's the matter with you? Forget my profile. Ok, I am not American. Focus on the topic and our respective arguments.

I also don't get why you aren't replying to the thread we have and keep creating a new one to reply to the conversation we are having.

I guess I am like Trump with the short attention span and flits around from one news cycle to another.

You didn't vote for Trump.

SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@sree251 So you are from India? I know you aren't American.

Not your kind of American, Munster.

@sree251 Are you a citizen of the United States of America?

Do you currently reside in the territory of the United States of America?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
Given Trump's record in his first term there was plausible reason to believe him when he was campaigning for his second term. He decided to betray that trust. I didn't leave Trump. Trump abandoned me.
Spotpot · 46-50, M
You are definetly not alone.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
I think this applies to people that DIDNT vote for him more than people who did.
@AthrillatheHunt I accept your context.. But that was after the event, the handling of which I wont go into. Trump won by default..😷
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@whowasthatmaskedman that’s how US politics has worked for decades now. We call it the lesser of 2 evils .

No regrets here my friend. 🇺🇸

Are you a citizen of the United States of America?

I was born in Manhattan. My father, a German, was a conservative fat cat investment banker. Mom, a full-blooded Italian and liberal, left him when I was three and took me to live with her in a town house in the West Village.

Do you currently reside in the territory of the United States of America?

I am now living in Oak Park, a suburb outside Chicago, Illinois, in a house left to me by my maternal grandfather. He was a colonel (US Army) who served in WW2, Vietnam, and Korea. He also left me his medals, side-arm, and Japanese swords, gifts from prisoners-of-war in facilities of which he was the camp commandant in Japan.

@sree251 Thanks for the relevant reply. I am still skeptical you voted for Trump in 2024. 👍

Why are you skeptical? What are the reasons for your suspicion? If you are frank with me, I promise to be serious in examining them with you.
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@sree251 You are a bitter contrarion, everything sucks, and everybody is deceptive and malicious.
You believe in nothing, save that everyone is self serving and corrupt.
You've never shown any interest in Trump or conservatives.
I doubt you even bother to vote, much less voting for Trump.
What you voted for vs what you got

I'm afraid Trump voting is like a tattoo. A permanent mark. But take heart. It doesnt mean you are evil. However, it does mean people are entitled to be wary of you..Your atonement is noted..😷
calicuz · 56-60, M
Tucker claiming he’s the force behind trumps election is peak narcissism.
And I’m sure the don won’t lose any sleep over your vote..
I saw someone suggest on social media that he can see that MAGA is a dying movement, and someone else said he's just preparing for a post-Trump world (same idea). I think that might be about right, because this guy made millions off of Trump lies.
calicuz · 56-60, M
NO WAY!!! you've cast your ballet and will be held accountable, but only if necessary. 😎
BohoBabe · M
Tucker Carlson is a grifter who is only saying this now because Trump is super unpopular. In a few years, Carlson will be promoting a different Republican with the same basic policies.
@BohoBabe But thats always been carlson. He blows with the wind for money.😷

Maybe just pay some attention, and learn how to be a bit more critical.
That higher power stuff, isn't going to save you from your own ignorance and failure to asset a situation. But if you want to keep praying for something to save you from your own actions... You'll be making a similair post in a couple of years from now.
