If he destroys desalinisation plants, whole cities will become uninhabitable. That would be a clear war crime against the civilian population.

@SunshineGirl It was stated that these gulf states depend heavily on desalination plants, meaning they depend heavily on availability of cheap electricity, to produce a high portion of their drinking water, so if Trump attacked desal plants he effectively kills entire cities and if it involved his beloved oil-rich Saudi Arabia he's then attacking his own business interests.
