And yet, he continues to gather the massive forces of the US military from all over the world towards Iran like a kid playing with his toy soldier set. And no one is stopping him. To Trump it is all a big show with people really getting hurt and dying.
You don't set a seat at the table for someone who wants to kill you. Drug cartels and terrorist aren't stake holders.
The US needs to be seated at the table on account of the US Dollar at the heart of the global financial system. The world economy has to keep humming along using the existing system. In time, things will change gradually and organically.
Not negotiate, surrender and accept a peace treaty.
Much as I sympathize with the Iranians who must be made whole (if that is even possible considering those kids who were massacred), the question of world economic stability is bigger than just stopping the Iran war.
But Trump's American ego is way too big for someone as obtuse-minded as Trump is to actually make that solution fly for very long before it too came crashing down after he fukkedup that option as well.
