end human trafficking!!!

America, it is time for us to put an end to human trafficking once and for all.

On January 1, 1863, one of our greatest presidents—Abraham Lincoln—issued the Emancipation Proclamation. It wasn’t easy. In fact, it was incredibly difficult. But he did it. He paid the price, yet he did not waver—because he understood that if we were to be a truly free nation, we must ensure that all people are free.

So with that said, ladies and gentlemen: as long as human trafficking continues, none of us are truly free.

How do we do it?

First, better healthcare. We need stronger healthcare systems across the board for many reasons, but in this case, a significant portion must be directed toward helping victims of human trafficking. That means protecting their identities so they feel safe, and providing them with real support—free therapy, access to human services, and long-term care to help them rebuild their lives.

At the same time, as we protect the victims, we must never protect the perpetrators. They should be swiftly brought to justice, immediately imprisoned, and face severe consequences for their actions.

I am not saying the country, all countries do not need to do all they can to eliminate any and all forms of slavery, himan trafficking etc., but i dont see why we can't privide for th we health and welfare of the people as well!

The US does not have a health care system. We have a poorly organized hodge podge of providers and monetary reimbursement for a such. I worked in one area and with a certain population. That needs tweaking! We were on the right direction with ACA, but that was change and not for the positive.
