Surely, you know that America is militarized. The US flag flies inside every church next to the pulpit. Every sporting event, be it football or Nascar, the national anthem is played. I used to wear a US Army baseball cap I bought online. I stopped wearing it after I moved from the city to a small town because everyone was thanking me for my service. It was too embarrassing because I don't even own a gun.
I honestly don't know. I never understood the American love of armies and service.

@Musicman Kharg Island is the heart of Iran's oil export industry. If the buffoon even so much as damaged the oil-related infrastructure there the americans would be paying double-digit prices for fuel.
Fortunately that is unlikely now that america has surrendered, but it's important that in the next few days Iran finds a way to take their victory lap without humiliating the buffoon personally.
