As we all know the US is at war with Iran. Is there a lot we don't know about this mess ? Yes. But is it really worth it all. Probably or probably not. It seems like we have been here before. Do we need to go through this all over again. We just got out our situation with Afghanistan. Too much money being spent. Too many lives being lost. Do you believe this is right ? Is it wrong. Are you for or against the war in US and Iran.. 🤔. 🪖

There is a clear goal. Eliminate nukes now and in the future. A bonus is the prevention of the Hormuz straight as an oil blackmail tool. Another is cutting Iran supplying oil to China and Russia. Another is freeing the Iranian / Persian people IF they want it. This is NOT Afghanistan which lasted decades.
@jackjjackson No but it can be. This war is not over. It's wasting time money and resources. Our allies hate us. The public is now protesting or planning too soon. The MAGA base is divided. And we are once again worrying about external affairs rather than our own. It's a mess. 🤔
@jackjjackson The President of the USA asserted last June that Iran's nuclear capability had been totally destroyed by US missile strikes. So was he lying then or is he lying now? Either way, this seems eerily similar to the Weapons of Mass Destruction dossier that embroiled NATO in an eight year war in 2003 (at least the president then paid lip service to international law and norms).
So he didn't totally obliterate Iran's nuke capabilities. Actually we probably did destroy their enriching capabilities. But the uranium that may have been left over is not weapon grade and would require building new facilities to process it before in would be a threat. Except for maybe dirty bombs. (Which we probably wouldn't be able to get to without boots on the ground.)
@jackjjackson Eliminate nukes? Good. Eliminate nukes from US, Russia, UK, France, India, Pakistan, North Korea, and, most importantly of all, Israel (now there's a country that will press the Red Button, and is rumoured to be considering it).
