-- Lowering (eliminating) inflation.

-- Lowering the price of petroleum.

-- Merit.

-- Reducing government expense.

-- The use of the autopen.

-- A president falling (fast) asleep in meetings.

-- A president knowing where he is and able to get around.

-- A president slurring his words.

-- Government corruption.

-- Sloppy wars and protecting Americans caught in a war zone.

If "the base" doesn't care about any of those things, what do they care about?
