2 month old baby detained by ICE is having failing health

A mother tried getting help for her baby with no doctor on site plus the 2 month old baby has spent his life behind bars, she was met with a shrug and got told they couldn't do anything for her. It's actually known that ice got rid of the contract with a company to provide health, a detention facility chose not to. Not to mention the highly cruel detention of children in the first place.

I would tag Missy Ann in this one, but she's in timeout for letting her mask fall off the other day.

@LordShadowfire Maga would victim blame the mother, they all would.

@SatanBurger Yes. Because it is the mother's fault for breaking U.S. laws by entering the country illegally. It is because of her behavior. Actions have consequences.

@justbob Your lack of compassion is revolting.

@tindrummer I tend to reserve my compassion for people whose problems are no fault of their own. When someone's problems are the result of his or her crimes and wrongdoings like in this case I can see that they are just getting what they deserve.

@justbob Including the baby huh?

@justbob Yeah, okay. Because committing a misdemeanor like driving too fast or crossing the border without papers should be a capital crime, even if you're 2 months old.

@LordShadowfire 2 months 😢

@tindrummer Yeah, I caught that after I hit send.

@justbob Someone pointed this out in another thread so I'll repeat as it's a good point but if someone comes here illegally that's a civil matter.

If that someone has been working with no criminal record, the act of jailing a 2 month old baby and not getting them help right away as the infant was suffering for awhile before this happened with no or lack of medical care, is an overly punitive punishment.

The punishment doesn't fit the crime. That's like someone getting a traffic ticket and then being put in prison for life or assaulting them to "teach them a lesson." This is all a bit harsh.

Furthermore, you can see others but we can't see you. There's lots of maga including Jan 6thers, border patrol, ice agents who have now been charged with child trafficking, domestic abuse etc some of those people who Trump pardoned ended back in prison, if not mostly all of them.

I'm not saying that's you but point being, many maga have violent past criminal records but they be in the forums making the same exact arguments as you.

So.. like it's a bit ironic to be that way and you can judge others but we can't see you.

That's not fair, for all we know, you could have gotten it for domestic drunken assault many years ago and be a violent drunk. So your argument for overly punitive punishments don't fit
