Would you call it wrong to have bets going on of Donald Trump Heart attack/stroking out before the end of 2026?

I do appreciate when you guys let the mask slip and reveal your true character.

...that's not a compliment...

I realise some may rather hope it happens to this particular gentleman, but betting on anyone's health - whoever they are - is wrong.

@ArishMell is it wrong to replace political action with statements about Trump? Because Washington and the US population are fine with that, doing nothing and signalling your virtue, correct?
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Roundandroundwego Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your point, nor what "signalling your virtue" means.

I support no American political party, though I am concerned about the USA's present international policies.

That is irrelevant though. It is not a political matter.

I find the idea of gambling on anyone's medical state - hoping to make money from a person's life by gambling on it as if a sports event - absurd and very distasteful.

There are active betting markets and "Vegas-style" odds regarding whether Trump will finish his term. The majority of bets still suggest he will complete his term, but there is a significant volume of wagers betting against it, driven by speculation regarding potential impeachment, removal, or health concerns.

May he live long.

It would. I wish death upon no one.

That’s not a prediction. That’s a wish.
