If you are referring to "Great Britain", this is simply a geographical term to distinguish the island of Britain from the smaller territory of Brittany (also known as Britain in the middle ages).

If you are generally jaded with life, try living in another country for a bit of perspective 🙂

@Guitarman123 You asked when was the UK great. I think it's pretty great right now. I say that with the benefit of dual citizenship and first hand experience of living in East Europe towards the end of the Cold War.
