Why are so many entertainers so pro-Democrat?

Help me understand, why are so many in the entertainment industry so heavily invested in Democrats?

The only reason I can think of is DRUGS. The more serious a politician is about stopping the illegal drug flow and distribution the louder the voices from the entertainment industry against that politician.

Are you asking why some comedians make jokes about those in power?

It's their job, essentially. If they scripted a whole show around agreeing with the government, that wouldn't be . . very entertaining 😴
@SunshineGirl

Not really, I think those people are just phissing into their own water cooler, night after night after night. While they may be entertaining the Democrat yellow dogs, the rest of the world flipped the channel years ago.

I'm referencing the greater entertainment industry. Like every day another brags about leaving the USA because of Trump, or demands that Republicans cease to play their music at political rallies.

So what's their motivation? Is it because closing Biden's open border also disrupts the flow of illegal drugs? Likewise disrupting the illegal drug flow by sea and raiding drug distribution channels?

It doesn't take much imagination to question a collusion triangle with the three corners being the drug cartels + illegal drug users + politician. Considering the general belief that illegal drug use is more popular in the entertainment industry, it's really not a stretch of the imagination. Like what's the suspected cause of death when when the news first announces the death of a popular entertainer?

@SunshineGirl leftist comedians only wish they were 1/10 as popular as Johnny Carson or Jay Leno...

@SunshineGirl Only if it applied equally across the spectrum.

@Heartlander Well, it's an interesting theory, but quite a convoluted way in which to go about securing your own personal drug supply 🙃

@Heartlander you say cities like the rural boonies have a history of being less corrupt.
@MethDozer Hmmmmm? Good comment. But just seeing how things are in Missouri, the two big cities, Kansas City and St Louis, were once so corrupt that the state of Missouri took away those cities' authority over their own police. I don't think that any of Missouri's smaller towns enjoy such a distinction.
