You cannot argue with MAGA

They demand evidence…they call your sources biased.
You provide primary sources…they claim they’re doctored.
You show them video…they claim it’s out of context.
You provide context…they claim it’s cherry-picked.

That’s not debate. It’s a systematic refusal on their party to allow reality to infiltrate their mythology. You don’t argue facts…you argue whether facts exist.

And to finish, they’ll claim this post describes libs. 😂

I showed proof social distancing and masking does nothing to stop a virus, and got all those things.
@MrBrownstone ok show the proof.

@Lostwithielle hmm look in the mirror. You're always right yourself
@MrBrownstone I'd love to see your proof. Here's the evidence that masks have a positive effect.

Duke University studied one million school children in thousands of classrooms including mostly masked, partially masked, mostly unmasked. They found masks to be pretty effective:

"A large randomized trial led by researchers at Stanford Medicine and Yale University has found that wearing a surgical face mask over the mouth and nose is an effective way to reduce the occurence of COVID-19 in community settings.
... The researchers enrolled nearly 350,000 people from 600 villages in rural Bangladesh. ..."

@ElwoodBlues So we are going to say EVREYTHING on the internet is true then?
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@MrBrownstone I've never seen your proof. What I have seen is you claiming you have it, then the insulting people who ask for it and provide actual evidence to the contrary.

@ItsMeMorgue Who did I insult?
@MrBrownstone I have a fair amount of confidence in peer reviewed scientifically analyzed data; however I'm always in search of better data. You said you had proof that "masking does nothing to stop a virus" and I'd like to see that data and that proof.

@ElwoodBlues So not answering the question tells me I needed to know.

@MrBrownstone You were provided with a source of evidence. You refused to do the same, instead engaging in the poisoning the well fallacy.

Really, hun?
@MrBrownstone My answer was implicit, I'll make it explicit. I don't believe everything I read on the internet, however, I have a fair amount of confidence in peer reviewed scientifically analyzed data such as the following.

Duke University studied one million school children in thousands of classrooms including mostly masked, partially masked, mostly unmasked. They found masks to be pretty effective:

However, I'm always in search of better data. You said you had proof that "masking does nothing to stop a virus" and I'd like to see that data and that proof. But actually, your refusal to answer tells me everything I need to know.
