Is there any movement in 2025 in the US to get the term redneck given the same racist status as the "n" word?

redneck can only be used among white. I have said the word red neck before and always felt like it was a derogatory term. When it came from people who were different. I kind of like guey in spanish it offensive depending how you say it.

I thought "cracker" was the bad one...?
