Ford had a purpose: The federal government (Canada) was bent on getting tRUMP to sign a trade deal that did not mention any benefits to his constituents (Ontarians). He 'aced' in playing to tRUMP's defensiveness and BOOM - he got his wish i.e. "GET BACK TO WORK AND GET A REAL DEAL FOR CANADIANS"
