Omg conservatives are so insane

So, does anybody here remember the movie Wag The Dog? It came out in the '90s. The basic premise was that the president was doing terrible in the polls and needed a distraction, so they manufactured a fake war. They brought in a movie producer and created this whole fake conflict that wasn't happening, and used footage of actors dressed as soldiers, and it was a whole thing.

No particular reason I brought it up.
