Well, despite the "ceasefire" Israel continues to bombard Gaza overnight and shows no signs of stopping.

It's heartbreaking, but we shouldn't be surprised: Netanyahu's own skin is more important to him than human lives, both Palestinian and Israeli.

@pdockal Got it. You're clearly not here for any real dialogue and are just repeating your talking points while accusing me of hatred and “justifying Hamas,” which I've never done.

For the record, again, I have never justified Hamas, nor have I expressed hatred for Israel or its people. I’m simply stating facts about the disproportionate suffering of Palestinians and the human rights abuses occurring in Gaza.

Warning civilians to flee a bombed-out territory with nowhere safe to go is not a defense of war crimes or genocide; it’s a weak excuse. The reality on the ground is clear: tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians have died, many more are displaced and starving, and that is a humanitarian catastrophe.

If you’re unwilling to engage honestly with these facts and prefer to throw insults instead, then this really isn’t a conversation. Good luck.

Hamas is widely considered a violent organization by many governments and international bodies, due to its use of terrorism and armed resistance against Israel. Numerous countries, including the United States and member states of the European Union, have designated Hamas as a terrorist organization.

The whole world ?
Who do you consider the whole world ?
Last i checked hamas was a terrorist organization without a county.

No U.S. administration has ever supported Hamas. The United States officially designated Hamas as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) in 1997 long before MAGA.

@jshm2 I wasn’t. But still…

Let's not forget that Israel has terrorized Palestine since Israel was reborn. It has systematically reduced the size of Palestine through violent seizure.
@AnnaWasHere Oh 100%. It didn't even pretend to keep to the original plan and is now looking to bisect the West Bank and cut off East Jerusalem. They know that no-one can really stop them.

The Romans conquered Judea in 63 BCE. Following failed Jewish revolts in 70 CE and 135 CE, the Romans destroyed the Second Temple, exiled many Jews, and renamed the area Syria Palaestina. This cemented the start of the Jewish diaspora, the scattering of Jews throughout the world
