Trump didnt shut the government down. It was about 12 Dems that chose not to vote to extend a budget package by trying to blackmail the govt into spending hundreds of millions of extra dollars on trans gender agenda and healthcare outside our current budget for illegals. Three Dems voted in support for the bill. The rest put Partisan politics ahead of the good of their own constituents.

Also ICE is considered essential for security reasons. They will see less than 10% of employees furloughed.
