Nonsense. Of course they exist and engage in violent assaults, pyromania and destruction of government property.
Please stop spreading terrorist propaganda.🤚

@SumKindaMunster Who is its leader? How do you formally join? Where is the membership list? Since it literally means anti-fascist, if you're against antifa, does that make you a fascist? But if you're against fascism, then you're antifa. Unless, of course, you're ambivalent.

@SumKindaMunster Has Antifa officially laid claim to a single act of terror? If they did how would we know that the spokesperson actually represents this organisation?
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@SunshineGirl Strawman arguments.
Of course antifa exists and have been engaging in violence, burning, assaults and destruction of personal property. I really don't know why you guys keep pretending otherwise. Search Youtube and you will find loads of video of antifa engaging in the acts I described.
A bunch just got swept up for attacking an ICE detention center in Dallas.
ANOTHER just got killed trying to kill ICE agents at ANOTHER detention center in Texas.
Do your research before you bring your ignorant British myopia to my arguments. Your questions are stupid and irrelevant.

@SumKindaMunster Got it, anyone doing any vandalism is automatically "antifa." Makes it convenient if you want to arrest people for holding the wrong opinion.
I'm not arguing that some of the people doing that harbor anti-fascist sentiments. Some of them are also right wingers. But there's a difference between people holding an opinion and being members of an organized group. I knew kids in high school who said they were "Nazis," but they weren't card-carrying, dues-paying members of the American Nazi Party.

@LeopoldBloom Those kids were unlike Lucille Ball who was a member of the communist party...

@Alabamarednek Jeez ANOTHER strawman comin' at me.
Is this subject really so hard for you to discuss?
Anitfa exists. Please stop with the nonsense that they don't with your silly questions "Who is their leader?" "How come they don't have headquarters?"
Irrelevant nonsense and the fact that NONE of you can discuss this relevantly says a lot about the issue.

@SumKindaMunster no it doesn't. Right wing fake news. Just like the myth of illegal immigrants getting welfare.
Doesn't make it true

@Alabamarednek Ok knucklehead, won't you send me a postcard from the state of "denial"? 😆

@LeopoldBloom I'm saying antifa is an opinion. You're saying it's an organized movement. So you should provide citations showing who leads it, how it's funded, how to join, etc.
I'm not denying that people who call themselves anti-fascist are acting violently. But I'm not saying the guy who shot up that Mormon church is a member of an organized MAGA militia and was acting under orders. He held an opinion and acted on it. Antifa is the same thing.
I assume you're against fascism, right? So that makes you antifa even if you're not going to fire-bomb a building over it. The problem isn't political opinions per se, but politically-motivated violence. I'm all for arresting people who commit crimes, but I'm against arresting people for expressing an opinion.

@LeopoldBloom Look at these guys who don't exist. Look up how they didn't attack an ICE detainment center and didn't shoot an officer in the neck. Look how they weren't all arrested and charged for violent crimes and conspiracy.
LeopoldBloom · M
@SumKindaMunster I didn't say they don't exist. I said that there is no organized group called "antifa" with leadership, financing, or a membership roster. A bunch of radicals getting together and carrying out an act of violence doesn't mean they're associated with "antifa," which again, is just an opinion which I assume you share, unless you're in favor of fascism.
There is no evidence that this group is associated with "antifa." One member was named in a lawsuit against the John Brown Gun Club. Other members were involved in protests against white supremacist Richard Spencer. So the best you can say is they're left wing.
Is the guy who shot up the Mormon church a member of an organized militia? Should we round up all of the Evangelical Christians who hate Mormonism?

@LeopoldBloom You haven't said anything worth replying too substantively. It's nothing but bait and strawman arguments. There is plenty of evidence they are antifa.
Feel free to post your evidence demonstrating otherwise.

@SumKindaMunster Please prove you're not a bank robber.
It doesn't work that way. If they're "antifa," you should be able to cite credible evidence. Antifa isn't even mentioned on the Wikipedia page describing this crime. Defining anyone who expresses opposition to fascism as a "member of antifa" is just a ploy to arrest anyone the administration doesn't like on suspicion of being a member of a "terrorist" group. Maybe we won't get there as a lot of hot air comes out of this administration.
You don't seem to understand the difference between sentiment and official membership. You jumped all over me for saying the Charlie Kirk killer was a Groyper, which simply means a fan of Nick Fuentes. I don't think you can officially join a Groyper organization either. Maybe Fuentes sells Pepe the Frog t-shirts.

@SumKindaMunster It is a strawman argument because there is no objective reality to address here. Antifa is a concept that some radical left wingers identify with. "Woke" is a similar concept that is used positively by some liberals and in a perjorative sense by some conservatives. Describing Antifa as a terrorist organisation makes no more sense than condemning Woke in the same terms simply because someone with allied political views committed a criminal act. It is simply an excuse for using government force to attack anyone whose views you disagree with.

@LeopoldBloom
@SunshineGirl It's a strawman because you guys keep shifting the argument to something it's not.
This is a great subject for me to hammer as it reveals how ridiculous ya'll are when it comes to your cognitive dissonance.
I keep stating that antifa EXISTS, which is the word I used. Not concept, and not organization.
Yet you all keep coming at me with things like: But but but they don't have a leader! But but but, where is their headquarters? Why haven't they claimed responsibility for their actions? None of this is relevant and does nothing but reveal your indoctrination to left wing propaganda.
You can go on Youtube at any time and search for anitfa in action. You will find loads of videos from the last few years of black clad individuals with antifa markings rioting, burning and looting. They obviously exist. They obviously engage in violent protests. Don't take my word for it, look for yourself.
I've posted multiple things on here showing the violence they engage in.
If you were truly serious about this, you would look up some of the reporting of Andy Ngo, or Michael Tracy on this. They have videos of antifa confronting them and engaging in violence against them. There is no disputing this is antifa. They have the flags, the labels, and the behavior.
