I read an article about a woman dying from Tylenol poisoning

Apparently the pregnant lady who was very liberal was so going to prove Trump wrong that she overdosed and killed herself and likely her baby in the womb. This says nothing about Trump but everything about liberals who think they know better. Why would you want to take so much Tylenol it kills you? Weird. I ask this question. Had that been President Hillary or Kamala say that would the liberal be as angry? How many conservatives would OD on Tylenol to show Hillary or Kamala that they are wrong!? So sad about the baby.

It has been known for years that acetaminophen is very hard on the liver, causing liver failure and death if used outside recommended dosages. I don't think the average far left individual will even consider Trump may be right about something.

@hippyjoe1955 That doesn't absolve her of being responsible for what she puts in her body. I am a diabetic and my doctor is a pill guy. He likes to change medicines, and every time he does, I spend a day reading studies about efficacy and side effects, and whether I shouldn't take it based on family history, other meds. With all the information we have at our fingertips, it is ridiculous to take medicine and especially enough to cause bodily harm without reading the side of the bottle at least. Informed consent is great. I refused the COVID jab until I could get the J&J vaccine. I have a choice what I put in my body. I try to educate myself before I put anything in my body.

@Roadsterrider I think we are on the same side. Well except I don't get vaxes of any type. I am of an age that I was a likely victim of COVID. I got it twice. I survived it twice as did my wife. Many of my family and friends took the jab and are now dead.

@hippyjoe1955 We are on the same page, or at least the same chapter. I just think that too many people today expect their hand to be held to prevent anything from happening to them. To say that if nobody told her tylenol could kill her, it really isn't informed consent lacks something in my opinion. We each have a responsibility to look out for ourselves to some degree.

Give a link to that
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Panamared I read it at 5 AM today. I really don't have the time or the energy to go back and try to find it for you. It was on a website somewhere and the article quoted a Twitter comment.

@hippyjoe1955 so it was bs

What is your source for the story about the pregnant lady?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@ZoeGrace19 I already told you. It was an article on a website I don't remember which. I am not about to go find out. I have seen it referenced in several other articles.
@ZoeGrace19 Why are you questioning it?

@samueltyler2 You're a retired Doctor, explain it to her.

Your source is bogus and pretending to be a liberal source when it is a far right hoax. Note, there are no statistics in the article. How do you quantify "many"?

What is your source for this story?

@ZoeGrace19 I already told you.

Logical fallacy. Hillary or Kamala would never say that.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@trollslayer Not at all. I follow the science which is why I didn't take the jab. I haven't taken Tylenol for years because of a scientific paper that came out many years ago saying the Tylenol can cause liver damage. I can deal with a lot of pain so I don't use it. The few times I did use it it didn't work very well for me. PS science is not marketing like you seem to think. Science is looking at things with an open mind. Some guy looking to get rich by sticking a needle in my arm is not science. He is a man marketing a product. Oh and by the way. I didn't get the jab. My cousin did. He is dead now. My cousin in law did. He is dead now too. My buddy from high school did. He is dead too. My neighbour down the street did. He is dead too. A young fellow from my church did. He is dead now. My son did. He has a weakened heart. My daughter did. She can no longer feel her toes. My other son did and he has what is known as VAIDS. Funny thing is that all my friends and family that didn't get jabbed are in great health. I haven't even had a cold for 3 years now.

@hippyjoe1955 wow, if I had that kind of anecdotal experience, I’d be extremely cautious, too. I’m sorry for all tour losses. My experience, however, was the opposite. My comment about money refers to follow the money and that will tell you why autism diagnoses have increased, and who would benefit from having an “alternative cause”

It was part of Tiktok challenge against Trump's cabinet RFK jr. Natural selection continues

If you can't quote a legit source, you should not present your comments as facts. You have only spoken your uneducated opinion. A huge overdose of almost anything will likely kill you. Your one example is worthless if you have no proof.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@ZoeGrace19 Why? If that were the case all discussion all over the world would come to a screeching halt. If you want to verify the story I related go do it. I am pretty sure it would show up in a web search.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
Why would rfk jr even spout off nonsense about Tylenol in the first place if conservatives know better than liberals. If it's true, oooooo one liberal big deal, you have a whole bunch of whackos in your party.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SatanBurger I don't have a party. I am completely independent. I don't like Trump. I have no opinion on RFK Jr. I didn't like Biden so.... The point I am making is that there were several studies conducted by major universities indicating that there is a problem with Tylenol. I am not saying it should be banned. I am not saying the studies are true. BUT out of an abundance of caution let us tell people what the studies said so they can be better informed as to their choices going forward. Sadly we live in a society where every ache or pain must be removed immediately and so if you have a headache you rush to the medicine cabinet for some sort of relief. Well sometimes the remedy is worse than the disease.

3,500mg within a 24 hour period of tylenol starts damaging the liver.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@NativePortlander1970 I have never used any of those so I will take your word on that.
@hippyjoe1955 All three are all natural, unrefined, once you refine, and/or synthesize, is when they become toxic.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@NativePortlander1970 If you say so. I remain pure blood.
