The US is using untraceable planes to disappear immigrants to countries they have no relation to
Most of these people had protections because they were in the United States under reasonable fear of persecution in their countries of origin. The United States chose to ignore those protections and take them back to their countries anyways where their fate is uncertain or not good. They were also denied legal counsel. The United States sent them to Africa where they then were taken back to their original countries.
Kind of reminds me of Alligator Alcatraz in which 1,600 immigrants are missing. This makes me worried for the people and how they are being treated right now. I wouldn't be surprised if we learn that many of the immigrants were killed.
This regularly happens when you have authoritarian regimes. They will slowly chip away and all of the freedoms that are perceived to be anti-regime. Until the public gets fed up and overthrows them.
@Notmesam I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we never have another election. I mean sure maybe we'll get to vote but I feel like Trump will try to circumvent it. I just am not going to be surprised if I vote and suddenly something happens that keeps Trump and his cronies in power.
@LordShadowfire For sure. That's why I've chosen to be harsher with them when they wanna come fight. I once thought that I could have a civil conversation so I used to just try to give them the benefit of the doubt when trying to talk to them. But no matter the evidence that Trump is violating these people's rights, I get told by every single one it's what they voted for.
I've come to the conclusion that I need to believe who they say they are rather than just assume they might be good people. At this point, if this is what they voted for as they've told me on countless occasions, that these people are just evil people. There's no human in them left for me to argue with.
I'll still always point to the facts of something but I've given up appealing to some humanity they don't have the neurons for.
@HobNoblin What's stopping our people from contributing? I mean aside from Trump slowing down the economy and lack of jobs being created now but besides the point, before Trump what's stopping Americans?
There's not that many undocumented immigrants to keep Americans from jobs. I feel like blaming immigrants is a way to scapegoat.
Undocumented immigrants contribute 90 billion yearly, we're losing money if you combine the amount we are giving to ice, secret plane rides that cost 28,000 hourly, no or very low tourism, slowed or almost no job growth.
Maga is so silly, it's like they don't math. You think losing 90 billion a year plus the money on deportations plus no tourism, plus tariffs and everything else is gonna help our economy lol 😆
@HobNoblin Being undocumented is a civil violation, not a criminal one. Calling all undocumented immigrants criminals is just wrong as most are hardworking people who pay taxes, raise families, and contribute to communities.
Undocumented is just a label 🏷 it doesn't say anything about who the person is.
