I dunno what I am, I'm not conservative but I couldn't pin point any exact ideology. I can only think of why I support the things I do and give sound reasoning.
I believe in UBI for instance, not to replace full paychecks but I do recognize the rise of AI will wipe out a lot of jobs.. it makes sense to have UBI as a buffer for food and stuff. I also like the Norway model of school maybe combined with classic Greek way of schooling. I don't know what that looks like but it makes sense to me:

I like the idea of getting rid of for profit prisons. There's a prison in all of Europe which has the lowest reoffending rates and they do the exact opposite of the American justice system so that one prison has been very successful in doing what they do. I always think that if we want to lower crime, we need to focus on root causes rather than blaming people. I do recognize that we can't change everyone and I think for those people, they need to stay locked up but study after study shows that tough on crime doesn't work. I also think that corporations should have no say in the American justice system or "rehab" efforts where they trick prisoners into working in chicken plants and continually abuse them.
I'm not anti corporation but there should be stricter laws on them and more focus/more reward on local economy instead. There should be more money invested into community building and community advocacy and less money invested into the police force. We do need police I think but we need a combine effort of community advocacy programs from people in their own neighborhoods and police rather than just police. We need more encouragement from people who have been there/done that and know how to speak to others going through similar. People who know the neighborhood and children.
Umm let's see what else...
More money should be spent on making life sustainable in the local economy, the ability to grow food and become self sustainable. We should have incentive for raising livestock with certain safety nets.
I'm pro choice, obvious but women's bodies are their own.
I'm secular but not atheist, I honestly think it should be illegal for religion to invade any form of govt. I think it's good and perfectly find to celebrate and have any religion you wish including the right to gather but religion needs to be out of schools unless you want to pray but only for yourself and not on others.
I don't believe in the Supreme Court either, they are easily corrupted because it's too easy to stack them and now Trump can do what he wants which is concerning. I never thought this was an issue before and always had checks/balances but I no longer think this. I think we need people even above the Supreme Court who can hold that power.
I dunno.. I'm pretty sure I have more issues but yeah.

I comment on politics, but I’m not politically aligned. I’m not liberal, conservative, or even centrist, I simply critique issues wherever I see them, left or right.

I'm against lbgt having special privileges, I'm against the greedy, I believe in strong nuclear family and economical safety nets depending on the times.

Other. Very leftist.
There’s a billion views on everything so there’s no way to answer that part of the question.
As to why…because the world is disgusting and I hope that one day people will live in one far more beautiful

I exercise moderation , I vote based on policies. Both the left and right are extremists to me.

Centrist. It’s the most sensible position to have.

@wildbill83 Fair point.

I think Americans live in an alternate reality and seeing things through a political lens just fogs the view.

I am a good ol’ centrist liberal.
