LeopoldBloom regardless my main point is that news stations shouldn't have a memorial for a person who targeted george floyds daughter with videos of his death and sent pictures of cartoons where Floyd was dying. He harassed her for years, main point of my post.
Onto the rest, I know you don't support Kirk so I'm not accusing you of doing this but social media amplifies things but it's hardly all of the population who are celebrating. People seem to think that what they see in concentrated numbers is the reality of the world's population and it isn't. I understand quite a few could be celebrating but it isn't the entire population so people need to get over it.
The second thing to address is that the right is trying to force people to be sad and are saying that because people aren't shedding tears, they are celebrating. Would you go to a person and force them to cry over an abuser? Would you point fingers, jeer at them and tell them to mourn or else? That's kind of what's going on and the more it goes on, the more people are pushing back. Turns out, people don't take kindly to others forcing them on what to feel.
Thirdly, maga celebrates immigrant children's deaths in a daily basis. They come into my posts to say this is what they voted for. They voted to take away women's rights, gay rights and brought discrimination back on a nationwide level. Because of them women have had preventable miscarriages, because of them children died from not having the measles vaccines. Because of them, children couldn't get their treatments on time and they think it's hilarious. They think they're so funny.
So it's mighty rich for them to give me a moral high ground pep talk when I've seen them laugh at death.
I hope for the best for maga and that they wake up some day, I really do honestly I support change but I'm not going to feel something that I don't.
I'm not maga, I'm not going to pretend to have morals one day and not the next, I'm going to always be honest about how I feel because I am not them.
