Shooting someone with the intention to kill him because of his ideas is literally fascism even if the shooter claims he hates fascists and fascism.

Not at all, it's political violence and nothing short of that. Fascism adoperates it intensely, but it's a completely different thing on its own (a far-rightwing ideology originated in the 1900s that imposes itself with violence), and not a synonym for politically violent people.

It's like saying every bird is a Boeing airplane because it's got wings.

But there is irony in the fact that he said some gun violence is acceptable to have the 2nd Amendment. I gues he never thought he'd be a victim of gun violence though?
