Charlie Kirk is dead. Fine. Very sad. MAGA blaming the left, with no evidence, as usual.
Prominent Democrats lining up in solidarity with Republicans to condemn the attack. As well they should, because they're decent people.
But Republicans and their supporters are not decent people.
We all know that if Charlie Kirk had been a prominent liberal who went to conservative towns to debate those who did not share his values, this site would be awash with MAGAts openly celebrating his death and gleefully sharing the footage of his murder, in the same way they had a collective orgasm over blowing up an alleged drugboat, killing 11 people with families (They may even have been White).
We also all know that not one single Republican, from Trump downwards, would have anything empathetic to say about it.
Tbf, the democrats do the same when it comes to these things. I mean, they are usually right because the right has proven they absolutely hate the liberals to violent ends, but there is still a lot of jumping to conclusions.
In the end, political party means nothing here. A man who spouted violent rhetoric experienced what that rhetoric can do. Seems ipso facto to me.
@DealingWithTrouble Not going to disagree with you at all! They have been doing it for so long, they have it perfected. When people receive death threats, the majority of them are from right wing people.
@boudinMan And anyone who fails to worship your orange lord and savior is labeled a "communist." Don't pretend that your side is blameless. And the violence was aimed at people who oppose him, like those Democratic legislators in Minnesota.
For all we know, Kirk was shot by a Mormon who was mad about Kirk's criticism of Mormonism.
