Hello MAGAs - Do You Still Believe Trump?

When he says that he deserves the Nobel for bringing an end to the Ukraine/Russia war. And while you're at it, which phase of the peace plan is the largest drone attack against Ukraine?

Of course most of the MAGAs on SW block me. They see no evil, and hear no evil.

@JanaF47 asked
Do you think the second candidate was a better option?
Personally, yes, I think almost any American would have been a far better option. But what do I know?? Let's listen to the people who worked alongside tRump in his cabinet during his first term!

Richard Spencer, Secretary of the Navy
“The president has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices.” — Nov. 27, 2019

H.R. McMaster,White House national security adviser
“President Trump and other officials have repeatedly compromised our principles in pursuit of partisan advantage and personal gain.” — Jan. 7, 2021

James Mattis, Secretary of Defense
“Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society.” — June 3, 2020

Mark Esper, Secretary of Defense
“I have a lot of concerns about Donald Trump. I have said that he’s a threat to democracy. I think the last year, certainly the last few months of Donald Trump’s presidency, will look like the first few months of the next one if that were to occur.” — Oct. 1, 2023

John Kelly, White House chief of staff from July 28, 2017, to Jan 2, 2019, and secretary of Homeland Security from Jan. 20, 2017, to July 31, 2017. He is a retired four-star Marine Corps general who was hired to bring order to the White House.
“A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution and the rule of law.” — Oct. 2, 2023

Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State
“M0ron” — July 20, 2017

William Barr, Attorney general
“The fact of the matter is he is a consummate narcissist and he constantly engages in reckless conduct that puts his political followers at risk and the conservative and Republican agenda at risk. … He will always put his own interest and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country’s interest. There’s no question about it. … He’s like a 9-year-old, a defiant 9-year-old kid, who’s always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table defying his parents to stop him from doing it.” — June 18, 2023

John Bolton, White House national security adviser
“By the time I left the White House, I was convinced he was not fit to be president. … I think it is a danger for the United States if he gets a second term.” — June 22, 2023

Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State
“We need more seriousness, less noise, and leaders who are looking forward, not staring in the rearview mirror claiming victimhood.” — Nov. 15, 2022

Full John Kelly quote
“What can I add that has not already been said? A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them.’ A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family – for all Gold Star families – on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France."

"A person who is not truthful regarding his position on the protection of unborn life, on women, on minorities, on evangelical Christians, on Jews, on working men and women. A person that has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about. A person who cavalierly suggests that a selfless warrior who has served his country for 40 years in peacetime and war should lose his life for treason – in expectation that someone will take action. A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law."

“There is nothing more that can be said,” Kelly concluded. “God help us.” — Mon October 2, 2023

There's no way to convince them that only their Truth is not the truth in reality.

Why I have called them fanatics in the past. They have taken religion into politics in the extreme.

Remember: Project 2025 is largely driven by a religious agenda that pushes specific faith-based policies into economics, health, and every area of public life.

They want a theocracy so they can control through religion.

Religion controls. They know this.

It doesn't matter that such control doesn't go along with many beliefs. They want the control that religion provides.

Even if it means combining beliefs into a single system.

The Constitution only says: Congress can make no law respecting an establishment of religion;

It does not explicitly mention combinations of beliefs. It doesn't forbid combined belief systems.

I am sorry but in my opinion he is not a magician and this situation is very difficult. Both sides of the conflict wont do any relevant compromise and have their strong interests. And both are backed by powerful alies.

@SomeMichGuy
shut out of the future

So true. In even my own small country, despite having been america's staunch ally in both war and peace, america is now seen as untrustworthy, unstable, and increasingly irrelevant.

@JanaF47
primary concern to end the fighting

russia could end the war today, immediately, by withdrawing to its 1991 borders.

It's as simple as that

@JanaF47 The gullible, the fearful ,the hateful, could not conceive of anyone better... they still cannot - and it will destroy america's standing in the world.

Trump is trying to 'buy' himself the Nobel peace prize - it's so obvious!

Trump is destroying the US economy - it's so obvious!

Trump is turning the USA into North American Korea - it's so obvious!

Trump is destroying US industry and jobs - it's so obvious!

Trump is trying to destroy the independence of the US Fed - it's so obvious!

But the true MAGAt believers are subscribers to a cult. Once something becomes a cult, anything can be justified in it's name.

His contradictions are becoming more glaring but whether that matters one jot to his followers is dubious.

He's the Chosen One, ordained by The Almighty!

If course they believe him!
