this seems to be a worldwide phenomenon. Our schools, obviously, have done a poor job of teaching about racism and xenophobia. I dislike, bordering on hate, POTUS, but he is more a symptom than the cause. I awaken each day hoping that it was all a nightmare and that I will see daylight today, but it is real. Certainly he stokes the fires of hatred that were kindled by his first administration.

People are more concerned with flags and singling out individuals than the systematic issues that lead to people grasping for whatever easy solution they can find.

Yes, it's suddenly become acceptable in some places to be openly racist under cover of right wing politicians spouting half-truths and stoking fear to divide society. Then they have the cheek to hi-jack the term 'patriot' and the national flag.

Racism has always been an element to any discussion regarding Gaza. It always goes back to how Israel must be ruled by Jewish Supremacy and it's ok to murder Palestinians because they're not really human. If they're willing to demonize the Palestinians to that point in order to uphold Jewish Supremacy, I doubt anyone is off the table.
