All this hysteria over displaying Palestinian flags is rapidly becoming less about Gaza itself…

… and more about racism.

The UK is being dragged back to a time when people referred to Chinese communities or the local corner shop in openly derogatory terms.

Now we are seeing foreigners being singled out, stopped in the street, in parks, and in supermarkets, openly asked where they are from, how they got here, and told to “go home” even those rightfully here by birth.

We can trace much of this directly to Trump 2.0, with figures such as Tice and Farage parroting the same divisive rhetoric.
Subconscious bias has never truly left the UK, but now it is being forced into the open and it is rampant.

Anyone who dares to oppose this climate of hostility is branded as “woke” or “unpatriotic.” Meanwhile, the narrative surrounding Gaza, the plight of Palestinians, and asylum seekers is being tightly controlled.

Meaningful discussion is effectively shut down, silenced under the weight of politics and prejudice. Keep flying the flag, public sentiment doesnt matter as the majority are now being outspoken by the minority of Far Right extremists.

this seems to be a worldwide phenomenon. Our schools, obviously, have done a poor job of teaching about racism and xenophobia. I dislike, bordering on hate, POTUS, but he is more a symptom than the cause. I awaken each day hoping that it was all a nightmare and that I will see daylight today, but it is real. Certainly he stokes the fires of hatred that were kindled by his first administration.

@SumKindaMunster you are showing even more how biased you are. You misquote me. I never ever said you can't attack him because he is a black man, I said it was obvious that you were doing just that.

You have your way to define free speech, the way you express it is the way a grade school student does. I think you need to reread, if you ever read it, the US Constitution.

@SumKindaMunster you aren't helping to prove your intelligence, sorry, but you are a one track person and can't seem to see how badly you come across. Keep it up, I don't even need to argue against you.

@degraded are you trying to insult me? You did not do it well. At your age you have no idea what the real world is, you haven't been around long enough to disparage someone three times yourbage with more than three times your worldly experiences. Sorry, you will need to try harder.

@degraded hardly wealthy, i am not poor, and I worked hard to earn my money, by helping many people like your undeserving self. You are still wet behind your ears, if you even have them and are not simply an AI produced post,
