President Trump is the most CENTRIST president in history. He has brought a lot of moderate Democrats and Republicans together, leaving only the far left fringe out there, screaming at nothing.

@Reason10 lmao...they were nearly all with him at one point. What happened? They turned on him because he's all those things and more! He's also a child molester.

@SomeMichGuy
the US of A, which is now dead

Yes, murdered by trump and his MAGA Party (formerly the Republican Party), the spineless cowards in Congress, and a corrupt SCOTUS

Now laughed at by the rest of the world as it slides into isolation and irrelevance
I wish others who need to could see this, @newjaninev2

Thought provoking question, with no straight answer, because by their nature in a democratic system, politicians will always be people who think differently about some things. If you look at what happened to Yugoslavia after Tito's demise, it could be argued that he held the country together. But I suspect you don't mean it in that forced way.

Not during their term.

The only one who I can think of off the top of my head is Carter, but that was after his term with his Habitat for Humanity org.

I can think of plenty of local politicians who operated below the national media radar and just got on with doing their jobs well rather than pursuing personal ambition.

The current leader of the Free World, Vladimir Zelensky. He has not only unified his country in solidarity and resolve, he has now brought Europe to the same mindset.
In my lifetime on the national level it was President Reagan, he won 49 states and the popular vote by a landslide. Local politicians not so much, they are mostly trying to appeal to their district to get votes.

When you say post war which war do you mean? Id think after vietnam kennedy did that (tried) after ww2 Nixon? And definitely during Clinton. Obama somewhat but it was brief and limited.

@wishforthenight so you are out of material
@MasterLee Calling me a racist is your only defense because you’ve lost the argument.

You're just projecting your own hatred and inability to think critically. Not surprising.

And I say again:

@wishforthenight lol keep talking
Nixon. He gave us all the hyphen. Blacks became black - Americans, Italians became Italian -Americans and so on.
