@Burnley123 Show me one post of yours or @wishforthenight about the ongoing genocide in Sudan's Darfur region and I'll apologize immediately.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@helenS That a genocide is going on somewhere else too isn't an argument against my position. It doesn't mean what Israel is doing is ok. It also doesn't indicate double standards. Maybe if I defended genocide in Sudan, it would.
Al Fashar has maybe a third of the population of Gaza. Also, Israel is being funded and supported by Western governments and has been backed by Western politicians. Including in my own country.
If you are seriously saying that those if us calling out Israel are motivated by anti-jewisjsh prejudice then that is pretty weak. Also offensive.

@Burnley123 Accusations of antisemitism are an attempt to silence any criticism of Israel and any honest discussion of what is actually happening in Gaza. It is BS and I'm not falling for it.
All the denial in the West is just funny to me. There is little denial in the Israeli media. They're very honest about what they're doing and what they intend to do.
There is no Sudan lobby receiving billions of dollars in military aid to carry out their genocide. There is no one defending the Sudanese government the way helenS defends Israel. This whataboutism fails.

I'm sure the second hit 15 minutes later was a mistake too... Not.
I do bet for real that supporters will claim there were Hamas members among the rescue workers rushing to the scene after the first bombing though, and that this somehow justifies both the first and second attack. 🙄

@NerdyPotato Not like double taps are a terrorist tactic to take out first responders....oh wait.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@NerdyPotato The Canadian news reported that the IDF claimed a "Hamas camera" was pointed at them. So apparently electronics are members of Hamas now too.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow The Hunger Games was supposed to be a warning, not an inspiration...

@sunsporter1649 says
Israel has about 350 hospitals for a population of about 9.974 million. In other words, a hospital for every 28,500 people.
Gaza had a population of 2.2 million prior to Israel's attacks, so, if there were rough parity between Gaza and Israel, you'd expect 77 hospitals.
Again, sunstroke, how many hospitals did you think there were in Gaza?
Amazing how many hospitals there are in what used to be gaza

@ElwoodBlues The senile loon Sunstroke is still around. Huh. Seems he did me a favor and blocked me.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I’ve just blocked him because of his comments here. Im convinced that he’s simply evil

@wishforthenight He is definitely the worst of all stereotypes about Americans....so yes.

The official line (to western media) is that this war was always about getting hostages back and taking out Hamas. Anyone who doubted this was an 'anti-semite' and/or spreading pro-Hamas propaganda.
They are still using those lines, long after their plausible deniability has collapsed. If you judge by their actions, not words: They are committing a deliberate genocide to de-populate Gaza. Some of their politicians have said this openly.

Twice. Steep learning curve. Don't have a Ring next to your door, you too can be shredded to pieces.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
They've now clarified that there was a Hamas camera in the hospital.
Well thank God for that.

@Burnley123 Oh it's *WAY* too late and notably neither the UK or Canada are actually threatening the turn off the tap, just recognize Palestine as a state which is basically a sick joke at this point.
I just watched a video from NBC which is the gold standard for tepid liberalism and it was pretty fascinating in how carefully it toes a line of telling the truth but not giving viewers enough context to reach the obvious conclusion that this is a deliberate pattern.

@CountScrofula Except a moment ago it was secret tunnels under the hospital, and before that it was simply a “mistake”.
Must have been a game changing “camera” to need a double strike. But at least they could afford to wait until as many paramedics, first responders and journalists as possible had congregated before their second “mistake”

It was no mistake
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
Even if you given them the benefit of the doubt with this one. What about every other hospital and clinic in Gaza? That is an awful lot of "accidents".
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow there’s no doubt about it. Israel has already admitted that nearly 85% of the Palestinians it has massacred were non-combatants.
This is deliberate. And Israel doesn’t care who knows it.

@wishforthenight Oh I know. Just pointing out some inconvenient facts for the few delusional ZIonists around here.
I pointed out to one in particular that not even 1940s saturation bombing of Germany killed as many civilians or even destroyed as many buildings.
There was literally more buildings standing in Dresden than in Gaza.

They bombed a church by mistake some months ago and now this hospital. Too many mistakes.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@wrule There is no plausible deniability left.
HiFiRaver · 18-21, M
It happens live on TV and still there's denial 🤦🏼♂
@HiFiRaver Israel is like Shaggy. We saw you in the hospitals, “wasn’t me” We saw you in the churches, “wasn’t me”

Hamas launching weapons from it?
@SumKindaMunster there’s no propaganda here. Israel bombed a hospital twice. The only propaganda was Israel’s “reasons” for it.
From the pro-Israel Sky.

P.S. I’m interested as to why you clearly swallow everything Israel says about its “mistakes” (50,000+ civilians and counting) when they rarely, if ever, provide verifiable evidence to back up their claims.

@SumKindaMunster Either that or, as journalists tend to congregate near hospitals (since they’re supposed to provide a modicum of safety, as well as electricity where they can charge phones and equipment), Israel is deliberately targeting those who are witnessing and reporting thr mass starvation they are inflicting upon the Gazans.
It wouldn’t be the first time Israel has deliberately killed journalists.
Infinitely more probable than anything Israel is claiming.
