At publishing time, Governor Newsom, interrupting his lunch at the French Laundry, issued a statement to the press: "I think it's absolutely outrageous that the Kern County BOE should deprive mediocre biological male athletes of their Constitutional right to excel in sports. I will immediately issue an executive order to cut state funding to that school district," according to sources close to the situation.
