Fiscally and economically they are they are not conservative and for free markets. Controlling the price of goods is closer to their dreaded planned economy.

@JimboSaturn There is a historical precident here. Back in the Roman empire. When Rome was "going broke" through overspending on the military and the tribute from the colonies wasnt arriving, the current Caesar ordered "bread and Circuses" to be free for all. And enforced it with solders in all bakeries. And everyone was happy at free food and free entertainment. Until the grain warehouses ran out.Then the riots started..😷
