Chief Sund met with the Senate Sergeant Of Arms, Michael Stenger (reported to McConnell) and House Sergeant of Arms, Paul Irving (reported to Pelosi) to request the assistance of the National Guard. Sund's request was denied. Don't forget that Trump had previously authorized 10,000 NG troops that Pelosi rejected.
