So, How's It Going?

Now that Trump has stripped away your Medicaid, made it impossible to get SNAP (food stamps), imposed tariffs that will cost you an estimated $2,700 a year, you're losing your job! Labor statistics just out show that the unemployment rate among American citizens has increased to 4.7% compared to December 2024 when the rate was only 3.7%.
Trump was going to end the war in Ukraine in one day. Yeah, right. Trump was going to get a ceasefire in Gaza. Yeah right! Trump was going to lower food costs. Yeah, right!
Trump claims he received a MANDATE from voters. In fact, he won the popular vote by ONLY 1.5%.
In fact, today, he is the MOST UNPOPULAR president in the history of our country.
And you voted for him! How's that feeling?

I am an SW friend with a woman whose only income, because of disabilities, is social security. She used to get free Internet from a grant. That grant was cut and now there is a tax credit instead, but she doesn't earn enough for that to work! Thanks MAGA.

Nothing is free, someone had to eventually pay for that 'free' Internet. Nothing (not even grants) last forever as well, she should've known that. In this world if you want something, you have to give something.

@PatKirby of course everything has to be paid for, but access to the internet can be lifesaving! That was only one example, she has some finding from SS too much to get her better rates for medical insurance.
