Thugs In DC Beat This Man Senseless

The victim is the guy who exposed $$ billions in gov't waste and fraud earlier this year. His crime? He went to defend a woman from a group of about a dozen young men assaulting her. This sort of thing is happening far too often. Remember this when the left screams "Trump's a Nazi" if there's a federal takeover in DC.

DC definitely is not a safe place.
@Musicman the firearm homicide rate per capita in DC is higher than any US State, and 4 times higher than the national average.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@BizSuitStacy That can't possibly be true! Guns are outlawed there. Just proves a point. The liberals don't know what they are talking about.
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
@BizSuitStacy @Musicman Guns are not outlawed there, the Supreme Court wouldn’t allow that. And duh the firearm homicide rate is higher there than any US state, DC has a higher population density than any US state. Any time you get a lot of people living closely together, especially with high levels of inequality, violence is more likely to happen. If you control for differences in population red states have a much higher rate of violent crime than most blue states, especially in the South.

@JPWhoo I lived there for 53 years. When were they allowed to start having gun's there???
DogMan · 61-69, M
@JPWhoo Red states do NOT have a higher crime rate than blue states, The highest crimes rates are blue cities in red states,
and blue cities in blue states. If a city has been run by Democrats for at least a couple decades, it is surely a high crime city.
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
@Musicman Since always. The Supreme Court wouldn’t allow any state or local government to ban guns outright. According to the AI overview, apparently DC does have heavy regulations on carrying firearms and how they must be registered.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@JPWhoo Rifles and shotguns. No handguns. And yes! Those restrictions are heavy.
@JPWhoo

So you think there is a strong correlation between gun violence and population density? 😂

DC has the 4th highest firearm homicide rate per capital of any city in the nation, but ranks 103rd in population density. Try again dumbass.

Oh...DC also as the strictest gun laws in the nation, as well as one of the lowest legal gun ownership rates in the nation. Just in case you think one of your leftwing slogans like "more common sense gun laws...or too many guns" is the issue.

You even tried gaslighting suggesting conservatives are blaming a mayor 🙄

It took decades of leftist policies from corrupt politicians in your party to create today's shithole called Washington DC.
@JPWhoo

Per the FBI Uniform Crime Report, 90% of all gun violence is concentrated in America's inner cities. America's inner cities are almost exclusively run by Democrats and their brilliant policies that lead to poverty, drugs, gangs. There is no correlation of gun violence based on whether a state is red or blue. That's a blatant lie the gun control Nazis in your party have been parroting for decades.

For the last time, duh, violent crime is concentrated in big cities in the US. Anytime you get a lot of people living closely together and you mix in high levels of economic inequality you will get a lot of violence.

If you ever happen to crawl out from under your rock and venture abroad you will find that big cities throughout most of Europe have much lower rates of violent crime than almost any big American city. Why would that be? Is it because big cities in Europe elect conservative mayors that allow residents to carry AR-15’s everywhere they go? No, it’s because national governments in Europe are more democratic socialist, resulting in low levels of inequality everywhere.

There is no correlation of gun violence based on whether a state is red or blue.
That is accurate if you just look at the total number of incidents in each state; however, if you look at the number of violent crimes per capita (thus you control for the population density factor) then the pattern of high rates of violence throughout the South emerges. Violence is deeply ingrained in Southern culture.

@BizSuitStacy I didn’t see your earlier comment, the one about how there’s supposedly no correlation between population density and violent crime, last time I commented. After I went back and read it I admit I had to think about it awhile before I realized the biggest reason that comment doesn’t disprove my point about the correlation between population density and violent crime. You said DC ranks 4th in firearm homicide rate per capita (I assume you meant per capita, not per capital) but only 103rd in population density. “Per capita” means you already controlled for population density. Let me tell you what that’s like.

That’s like if you were playing different sounds for mice and then making them run a maze to get a piece of cheese. You took four groups of mice, and for half an hour let each group listen to a different one of the following four sounds: flute, saxophone, trombone, banjo, each at say 10,000 Hz. The group that listened to the flute consistently ran the maze the fastest, so you conclude that playing higher frequency sound helps mice complete the maze faster. But that’s wrong, because, as I said above, all the mice listened to the same frequency of sound, 10,000 Hz.

Now who’s the dumbass?
