Some have recently asked me, as a born-again follower of Christ, why I voted for Trump.

These are my reasons and if you disagree, that is no problem, but please show me the same respect as I show you in my replies. This should be discussed in a civil manner.

I'm a person that prays about everything in my life that I do, and the decisions I make. That's just who I am, and for good reason. After all the Lord has done for me, I cannot give him less than my best.

Our choices here in America are limited, as you can see. It's just a shame that we cannot live as anarchists, the way some would like, so I think voting is crucial, if we want to have a say-so in our country's future.

When I vote for someone on the ballot, I'm not voting for a pope. I'm voting for the man whom I think will be best to make America great again. In doing so, I study each man's history, habits, and decisions, along with what they did or didn't do for this country. I prayed about my decision, and asked God to lead me to vote for the right person. I wanted to make an informed decision, just not vote for someone whom I "thought" might be good. Each of the candidates have their flaws and one thing that really upsets me about Trump, is his loose mouth. Sometimes he speaks when he should be silent.

I have watched Trump very closely over the years and one thing that I have seen in him, is good change. A change in his character and heart for God. I definitely feel in my heart and spirit that he loves his country and he is allowing God to lead him in all his decisions, and I can see God leading and answering his prayers, very clearly, and in so many ways. I have watched him grow in Christ, and let's face it... those who follow Christ are constantly learning and growing in Him, and we can't do that without making mistakes and learning from them. Never in my life, could I ever vote for Obama or Biden. And certainly not Hillary Clinton when she ran for office of the presidency. I see so much evil in these people, I cannot even express it. They completely ruined our country and now Trump is having to clean up the mess, and what a gigantic disaster it is. Given that, the decisions Trump has had to make now, in order to accomplish order and success for this country, may appear to be counteractive to our needs, but in fact, they are necessary, so that what they demolished, can be restored. The damage is so devastating that people really believe that can be done in 4 years, but thanks to the Obama and Biden administration, it will take much longer than that and people need to be patient. Not only that, but to PRAY for the leader of our country. Improvement, takes steps that seem counteractive or counter-productive for this country, to others, but are in fact clearly necessary, in order to get things straightened out. These steps do not make Trump popular or appear to know what he's doing, but he definitely does. I just want to add that I feel Trump is following Christ closer now, than ever before. I think his decisions are brilliant. We finally have a leader with a backbone, that will not back down from other countries. They know that and are showing respect to him for that.

I have been in politics and even ran for office and I know exactly how crooked the media are and all their manipulative lies about things to make society feel that all is lost because of Trump. That is certainly not true. No one has ever, in the history of America, been treated so poorly and unfairly. They make up stories in a fashion they wish us to believe. They have done everything in their power to turn Americans away from Trump, but I can see God's hand in sparing his life for His purposes. It was no accident that Trump's life was spared when that bullet missed his brain by a hair! God is definitely using Trump to make this country great again and we were just on the verge of doing that, when everyone voted Obama back in office. It so reminds me of the Bible verse that says in the last days that men will call good, EVIL and evil, GOOD. And that's exactly what happened and is still happening.

Trump got in office because that's whom God wanted to be in office, against all odds. Twice! However, the decisions Trump is making right now may look really bad, but they are necessary in order to unravel the mess that Obama and Biden have gotten us into, before things can start looking up, and Trump told us that.

I like Trump because he's a praying man, whether people believe that or not, and he's the only President in the United States that I have ever known to come flat out with it, that not only does he believe and pray to God, but that this nation needs to turn back to God again before it can be GREAT again, and he makes no bones about letting people know that he loves the Lord. Good for Him! He's not ashamed to confess God as Savior in his life. I feel he has been, and is, the greatest president we've ever had. He certainly doesn't back down from his enemies.

Is he perfect? No, not by any means, and neither are we. But he's not ashamed of the Lord and he's the only one that has stood up in this country and said so, and God has said in his Word that any man who trusts in Him to lead in all his decisions, is wise and trustworthy. Any nation that allows the Lord to lead them, shall flourish. We learn from our mistakes. I could make a very long list of the good Trump has done, and IS doing for our country. So many cannot see it. The Bible says in the last days that people would rather believe a lie than the truth, and that's what they're doing, believing all the media tells them. The biased media are no help at all. All they do is poison people with lies about Trump and say how badly he's doing, when he's actually not. This is why Christians love and appreciate Trump, because he's not ashamed to let everyone in the world know that he believes in God and wants God to lead him in all his decisions for this country and they respect that. I see his growth in Christ. Sometimes I get very angry because of what flies out of his mouth, but with prayer from everyone, I have seen much improvement, but I'm praying for much more Improvement.

My opinion as a follower of Christ, is that success is putting God first in all things, and this is what the Bible speaks of. Success is when God writes your name in His Book of Life.

I do not see Trump tearing down this country, as do some, but doing his dead level best to make America great again and a God-respecting nation. The morals of America, desperately need reshaping and that is another thing God is trying to restore. Under God's leadership through Trump, I see a man after God's own heart, always putting Him first in all his decisions and to me, that makes Trump a great leader and the best choice. For without God, we can do nothing, and we are nothing. I have found that to be true, in my 52 years of following Christ.

Trump is definitely not in this for the money, as others are saying. The man genuinely loves God and loves his country and therefore wants to make it great again. Trump is almost a billionaire, so obviously he's not needing money or in it for the money, and he has blatantly said so. The man's not doing it even for his health, and God knows what all Trump has had to suffer, because of his opponents. But God has given him great strength and perseverance to see everything through. Otherwise, he could not have done all he has done. He could not have stood all the tests. I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes for anything. He has suffered so much. With his money, he definitely didn't take the presidency for any other reason but his love for his country and its people, because anyone else would DEFINITELY not have tolerated all the abuse he has suffered, plus the bullet! None other would have put up with all the abuse. They would have ran for the hills! I firmly believe this verse in the Bible, given by God himself, to man, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit:

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14.

Amen 🙏🙏🙏 Exactly! Is Trump perfect, no. But, at least he loves God and prays. Did Biden, Obama or Clinton work for free, no! Sadly I am not sure Trump can undo the mess Biden and Obama have made in four years, but with enough of us praying God can do it through him. 🙏🙏🙏
@Musicman I couldn't help but give you best answer. It definitely was and you're very welcome. Your thoughts on this subject are so important. Thanks for taking the time to answer.
@Musicman Definitely. There are so many things the man got by with, even before he took office. There are things that should have disqualified him as running for President!

Amen sister!!! President Trump is by no means perfect but I believe he was chosen by God to save our republic from the evils and the scoundrels that intend to destroy our country. ✨🙏🇺🇸

Trump is far from a Christian. First his an adulter, and disregards life as lesser. If you read the bible it talks in old testament to show hospitality to foreigners.
@RisingMorningStar7 and God gives us common sense to know what and what not to do. I never said minorities were not our neighbors and we should love and help them and we do with missions to help the poor and starving. Your statement that I will never enter Heaven is very judgmental. And this country cannot be a Band-Aid for every other country in this world. We have taken on way too much as it is, which has caused us much too much in expenses. Did you not notice what happened when Biden opened up all the borders and all these criminals came into our country? This is definitely not healthy for our country. Common sense. We can only take on so much. There's things we desperately need to take care of in our own country. We can send Aid to the other countries, but we cannot take on the world.

@LadyGrace while i agree something has to be done about the border, the fact you cant pass amnesty and seal the border, really shows how people view other people.

@LadyGrace Trump has never conceded he has made a mistake, let alone shown willingness to learn and improve. His deliberate cruelty and lack of basic human compassion grows daily.

@Kypro Please be respectful in your wording. I appreciate your opinion but let's keep it respectful. In politics, you can't believe everything you read. The media is so biased in their Democratic views and so much is lied about. I have definitely read about him and I know how the media twists things politically. Like I said he's not perfect, and he, like us, have made plenty of mistakes, but I have watched him grow in Christ and therefore cannot agree with you. I think he's grown up a lot, as well. I'm sure we all have a past we're not proud of, but the past is the past, and the important thing is to pray that we do better, and the same for our leaders, pray for them that they do better and improve as time goes on.

Trump blasphemes Christianity everyday of his life.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@LadyGrace this was all because of the incompetence of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris....the worst administration this country has ever had. It will take years and years to fix what they ruined.
Thank God for Trump
@Midlifemale Amen to that!
