I fail to see why Sydney Sweeney was chosen by American Eagle to be their poster girl who represents the Nazi ideology of puritan-like Aryan genes?
Sydney Sweeney is Caucasian but she is not Nordic, which is where Aryan purity was derived from in Hitler's fascist ideology which otherwise formed the basis of the Master Race theory behind Hitler's fascist Germany.
Sydney Sweeney is not blonde-haired either, she is actually a natural brunette.
Additionally, her eyes are not blue, nor are they green. Anyone born as a natural brunette does not have blue eyes.
@swirlie My eyes. People are angry because a white person is saying she has great jeans/genes. Not that she has master race genes, not that everyone else has bad genes, just that she has great genes. This is like when people got mad over "it's ok to be white."
@BohemianBabe I don't know where you found any of this you speak of because this is the very first time I've ever heard anyone come up with that theory.
@BohemianBabe Well first of all, this ad involving American Eagle and Sydney Sweeney is NOT about anti-White Racism nor is it about anti-Black Racism either, unless of course Black people want to make it about being Black or White people want to make it about being White, then the ad becomes all about being Black AND all about being White.
@swirlie No, I mean the outrage over the ads is the anti-white racism. The campaign itself has nothing to do with race. But anti-white racists are saying it does.

Now, see, here I thought you were starting to listen to reason on this issue. But here you are again, lying about it.
@BohemianBabe I still stand by myself when I don't think it's racism towards whites. There's a rise in nazism, people are done with aryan way of life. If they would have chosen the same actress with the sex appeal without alluding to what they were doing, if it was anything else, I doubt you'd hear anything about it. Since there wouldn't be a big uproar if it was any other commercial featuring white girl anesthetic, I'm less likely to believe it's solely because she's white that people hate the commercial.
The "you just hate her cos she's white" seems a bit of muddying what people are saying.
I think you had good points on not making things as big of a deal in case the thin skinned decided to go full Alex Jones on us. There's a point there and I recognized that I never considered bringing up societal issues as potentially forcing thin skinned to go full Nazi, I do think there's a point here.
I still don't think it's anti white racism though specfically

Maybe, but they also could have made the same genes/jeans joke with a non-white actress, and nobody would have made a fuss. That's why I think this is anti-white racism. It's the double standards.
I don't think everyone complaining specifically hates Sydney Sweeney because she's white. I think it's more that these people are carrying an anti-white bias, some of them are aware of it, some of them aren't.
Bee tee dubs, I was right, the actual Nazis are using this now. All of right-wing media is obsessively talking about how the Left hates beautiful women, and we see Nazism absolutely everywhere. Get ready to be disappointed during the midterms.
Like I said I get your point about the thin skins. I never considered that maybe that's why people are switching up and it's plausible why you think that. People are influenced by what they see and I'm serious when I say you had a point. That's why I'll consider how I post something from now on and how I talk about it.
What I don't get is how 50 to 100 maga been caught for child pron or assault and the thin skins care more about what the left is saying regarding culture wars more so than people who would rp their children. As it's a fair majority of hard core maga who been in the news for being violent criminals lately.
I can't count how many times a right winger been in the news for that. I've lost count just this year as it's so much.
@BohemianBabe Honestly this is only an opinion, like I said you have a point and I don't want to take away from that. But at the end of the day Trump did actual assault and routinely encourages people to assault others like ice whose been sued three times already.
If you vote for someone like that over you think democrats are ineffective, you're a bad person to begin with. One is not the same as the other. That's like two people being up for vote, one maybe is just your standard politician and the other assaults people and thin skins say "well I don't like what the standard politician does so I'll go with the ones who abuses people"
I mean how do you get so delusional. Do the thin skins not value their lives much, are they saying they'd rather be abused? That's crazy as hell.

@LordShadowfire Now, see, here I thought you were starting to listen to reason on this issue. But here you are again, lying about it.
I think that @LordShadowfire makes a more compelling argument about your perception than you do.
The commercial isn't about race at all. The people who are angry about the commercial are racist against white people, they're mad that a white woman is talking about having good genes/jeans. The outrage is anti-white, not the ads.
I mean, you can say that all you like, but it's basically outrage because they're talking about white people having "good" (dog whistle for superior) genes.
