The cherry season is the best in years. So why are farms upset? Because there are no pickers. Prices are also high because of limited supply, despite the mega potential harvest.

I’m seeing $7 per lb cherries at Safeway.

But 7 dollars is crazy.. I buy frozen fruit from other countries. I love fresh fruit but too expensive.

@Carla My state (Washington the top sweet cherries producer in the USA. Including the most expensive cherry variety named after Mount Rainier. To get better pricing, I need to travel to a farm and pick it myself.

Illegal immigrants get blamed for everything...because it's a group of people who are an easy target. Get rid of the illegal immigrants, and groceries will be cheap again, rents will go down, crime will disappear, there will be more jobs for everyone.

They say illegal immigrants don't work and don't follow the law, yet they're arresting them at their jobs and at the courthouses where they're trying to follow the rules. So much that's said about them is just completely false.

They certainly never wanted the jobs they're doing.

So many MAGAts are among the poorest and less educated among us. They don't realize when all the migrant workers age gone the less desirable jobs are going to be all that is available to them. Better suited people are going to get many of the jobs they are now doing.
