Sadly, there is no easy right/wrong answer to this dilemma the entire world is really in. I suspect anyone who had a loved one attend a music concert that was turned into a bloody rampage on men, woman, boys, girls, and babies would want some vengeance and justice served at some level. At the same time, seeing the mass destruction and human horror in the name of that vengeance and justice seems unconscionable. Meanwhile, in Gaza, those responsible for the music festival bloodshed have chosen to hide among the general population as cowards. Why the Gazans have not given them up is confounding. On the other hand, Israel does have the technical capability to be more precise with their war effort and why they have chosen a carpet-bombing style of warfare seems unconscionable.

With Iran, they are a terrorist threat to the world yet external led regime change has never been successful. Meanwhile, moderating them was on track with the agreement the Obama Administration negotiated and the Biden Administration tried to reinstate after it was nullified by Cry-Baby-trump... who remarkably was scrambling to put it back together under a new branded name for the credit he craves. Yet, preemptive warfare is morally weak and often is not successful (think Iraq and the fantasy weapons of mass destruction the Bush/Cheney Administration claimed they were committing the USA to fight for... mission accomplished indeed!

So, it really is nearly impossible to pick a "right" side when it comes to the MidEast which has a long, long history of wallowing in hate, war, and terror among all parties. The spirit of humanity is the best we can hope for and the least likely to be exercised. There is little consolation, but perhaps there is no "right" side on this "matter."

@MarkPaul I'll tell you why the Gazans haven't simply given those people up. They have a literal terrorist group running their government for them.
No one is admirable over there. However it isn’t rocket science to t Iran, Hama, Hezbollah and the Houthis are the worst. Ask yourself. If you had to pick a place to live over there where would it be? @MarkPaul @LordShadowfire
@jackjjackson You're right, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah are terrorist or terrorist supporting organizations. However, I used to expect Israel to actually behave in a civilized manner. And that expectation was met before Netanyahu.

Israel's current treatment of Gaza is somewhere between ethnic cleansing and full-on genocide. I really can't support or be a party to that either.

So everyone is currently equally wrong? @ElwoodBlues

@markinkansas Except, they know that would end their power grab even before their bomb dropped. So, yeah a dirty bomb would do its toxic damage, but the regime would be destroyed and even they don't believe their martyrdom would be worth it.
@MarkPaul Yeah, tRump's real message to Iran here is this: "Build yourself a NUKE. Nothing else matters if you have one." I know that's not what tRump intends to say, but that's what Iran is learning.
