Do you believe Donald Trump’s military demonstration was successful?

I didn’t have a chance to see any coverage. We did a Fathers Day community supper at noon and fed a few hundred hungry people. I figured there would be all sorts of coverage of the 250th commemorative parade I could catch up on later.

It didn't look wildly successful, but not a complete failure either, as attendance went. I've just read, on another post here, that less than 9k showed when they were expecting around 200k?

@BrandNewMan Looks like the only ones whining are the MAGAtards. Absolutely nothing "whackadoodle" about the protests at all. Look at the people attending those protests. They covered the political spectrum. Even Republicans, fed up with what has been going on, attended them. On the very day of the protests, a whackadoodle gunman slaughtered an innocent couple and attempted to slaughter another couple and their daughter.

Why do you think the parade was a failure? Answer: The 250th anniversary of the American army was hijacked by a whackadoodle "president" and his equally addled cabinet of grifters. In other words, he made it a failure, himself. If it hadn't been hijacked by MAGA, the parade would have been massively attended. The real patriots attended the No Kings protests. The real patriots are worried about how America is turning out and how Americans treat each other and other people and countries. Not "lame ass" or "made up" at all.
@jackieash You libs are the ones who made it about him. You admit you refused to put aside your dislike for a president and do the right thing to honor our soldiers and veterans who deserve your support regardless of your politics/opinions. That is NOT patriotism.

Move on .. not buying your b.s.

No.
But like Cherilynn LaPierre Sarkisian, I believe in life after love
It depends on what your expectations were, but I'd say it failed very successfully.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
No. It was funny though, the sound of the lonely army tank driving with an almost empty parade was super hilarious.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Certainly got you talking about it
RageAgainstTheMachine · 41-45, M
@MasterLee Talk is cheep; you would know that more than most.
From what I say it looked like a rehearsal for a low budget war movie.
It's so quiet, we can legit hear the squeaking of the tank wheels. 😆

The grounds were empty. The streets, the parade route empty.
TheShanachie · 61-69, M
There was no purpose
Bumbles · 51-55, M
No, it looked limp, sad, and desperate.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Bumbles that's Melania's catch phrase at night, good sir!
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@basilfawlty89 Ha! True true.
No relief in the fiction as anything but fiction, no need for the rage in the username, whole play was written to fall
[@ @RageAgainstTheMachine and I am a human who's aware of the system's role in that

@pentagrammom I do not think you fully comprehend my comment.
@RageAgainstTheMachine human singularity, the algorithm I am responding to cannot comprehend as code running in a computer doesn't have the brain required to comprehend, just a program imitating that
tobynshorty · 51-55, F
I think he should be embarrassed
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Of course it was, his press secretary told us so . .
