@KunsanVeteran my daughter, a physician, never changed her name after marrying. That drive her husband nuts. She was very much in love with him, and we had a good relationship with his parents. Unfortunately, he became emotionally abusive and they divorced. Her new husband is marvelous and is a better father to her daughters then their biological father ever was.
