Liverpool fans attacked him in his car and even broke his back window, We might assume he might have panicked.

Would being attacked by a crowd not frighten you?

I’m still astonished that people are giving him the benefit of the doubt.
What is it about the British legal system you don't understand precisely? Which people? What benefit of the doubt? He will appear before a sworn-in jury and they will decide guilt or innocence and, on that basis - and that basis alone - the judge will pass sentence.

@iamthe99 I'm out of the speculation. I'd advise you to do the same.

I’m still astonished that people are giving him the benefit of the doubt. It’s disgusting.
I'm making room for the possibility that you're not from the UK so don't understand how our justice system works here.

It's not a case of benefit of the doubt, in the UK we work on the basis innocent until proven guilty. This guy is innocent of any crime. He's not a terrorist or an attempted murderer, or any other label you might choose to place on him.

You have already pointed out he appears to a support a democratically elected politician you don't happen to like. In the UK this is not an imprisonable offence.

Maybe it is where you live?

It was a dreaful incident, no doubt, but I believe in justice and that is not by "social"[?}-media speculation nor by newspapers whose prime aim is their sales. To descend to those levels is not only unjust to the perpetrator but also and more seriously to his victims.

It can only a "terrorist" incident if in pursuit of some political end, normally as part of as sympathiser of, some extreme group or movement. It is all too easy to throw labels around without knowing the truth.

We do NOT yet know why he drove into the crowd but so far at least there seems no evidence of any such motive.

Whatever your own political views, his nationality, race and political views are NOT relevant unless and until his eventual trial (including any confession by him) show otherwise.

Unhappily, I agree. The police rushed to get his details into the public domain, so there was no repetition of the rumour mongering following Southport last year. You could sense the disappointment in the media when he turned out to be white, middle aged, affluent, and middle class.

I heard a report that he was struggling with depression. So would I if I spent my days following Farage, Tate and Musk.

Wow thats Fd up. Is there no justice? The person likely just has plenty of money?
exchrist · 31-35
@iamthe99 yea selective enforcement and leniency by racial profiling. The English speaking countries do alot of that. Maybe the person has a brain tumor or sonething too? Anyway there should not be special treatment of anyone these types of immunuties lead to rebellions protests and revolution. Supposed to.
iamthe99 · M
@exchrist No, there should be no special treatment. You’re also trying to excuse his behaviour. He should be tried, convicted and sentenced to life for 79 counts of attempted murder.
exchrist · 31-35
@iamthe99 im saying he needs to be held responsible. Im trying to rationalize why he did it. He is guilty and should be punished. He was recorded doing it on security camera.
Cars really help you maintain the terror. Western man is a motorist with choices about mowing your people down.

Clearly attempted murder
