Trump’s ICE Defies Blue Sanctuary State to Conduct Raid Against Illegal Alien Gangs

It appears the Department of Homeland Security, under President Trump’s renewed watch, isn’t wasting any time getting down to brass tacks. Breitbart News just dropped an exclusive: DHS conducted a major sting operation right in the heart of a notorious sanctuary state, Massachusetts, and they weren’t there to hand out welcome baskets. They were rounding up illegal alien gang members and other violent offenders who’ve been lurking in the shadows.

It’s about time someone reminded these sanctuary city politicians that their virtue signaling doesn’t supersede federal law or the safety of their own communities. United States Attorney Leah Foley certainly delivered that memo with a megaphone, issuing a stark warning.

Quoting U.S. Attorney Leah Foley’:

"I will not stand idly by if any public official, public safety officer, organization or private citizen acts in a manner that criminally obstructs or impedes ICE operations. The United States Attorney’s Office, along with our federal partners, will investigate any violations of federal law and pursue charges that are warranted by such activity."

You can almost hear the pearl-clutching from here!

@ElwoodBlues PhD in South Dakota. You never said what was used to take this action against her ( court stayed it).
Due process means the government can’t act arbitrarily.
That unfortunately is a trademark of administrations on both sides of the aisle, despite the 5th and 14th amendments*
Not saying it is right or lawful but has been done.
Answer this: Did
all those jailed for Jan. 6th receive due process? A simple yes or no will suffice.
Many on the Democratic side are not always let’s say either 5th and 14th amendments when it came to or comes to political opponents. Then it’s in the trash.,
And it’s not about students or political “‘enemies”. Yes it is about a process in our constitution that has not always been used as intended.

I don't trust that they are just rounding up gang members, they don't care and just want numbers.

@Subsumedpat A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson said on Wednesday that Tufts University student Rumeysa Ozturk was "granted the privilege to be in this country on a visa" and that "DHS and ICE investigations found Ozturk engaged in activities in support of hamas, a foreign terrorist organization that relishes the killing of Americans."

@sunsporter1649 That is not who i was talking about, Kseniia Petrova is the scientist name.
Got to do what needs to be done.
@ElwoodBlues The administration has determined the individual is to be deported. Understand the fact that the person is a PhD has little bearing on their decision.
Do you know what the charges are and subsequent deportation are all about??
@soar2newhighs says
The administration has determined
That's not how it works under due process.

Under due process, the administration would file a case and perhaps an arrest warrant. Under due process, only the judicial branch can make such determinations.

Frankly, it's rather surprising that you don't understand how the law works.

Understand the fact that the person is a PhD has little bearing on their decision.
Actually, it does. The claim was about alleged "gang members" being deported. Are you suggesting this lady belongs to some kind of illegal PhD gang?? if not, what gang does she belong to??
