I guess Amazon almost did a hostile an political act...

For showing the customer which taxes they have to pay to the US governement in tariff-revenue.

Everyone can see the sales taxes on their bills... But I guess showing the tax that the current president is levying on your products is a "hostile act".

Wonder why that is... mmmm what can it be? 🤔

But no worries, your "taxes" will go down... because the big tax on consumers is "regulation", according to David Wessel. The cost of knowing that your products are safe to use, the cost that you pay to have the employees that make your product have a safe work enviorment. That's the real cost on consumers. I wonder when these people are going to cry foul when other countries refuse to import there unregulated food products in other countries?

But for now, know that a business that sells products from all over the world is forbidden to inform it's customers why the price of their commodity went up due to a deliberate tax by the governement. Because informing the public, is a hostile act.

For those people commenting on what Amazon did or did not do... I honestly don't care. I don't care if they were planning to do it, I don't care if they backed down.

What is important to me, is that you have a governement, that comes out to say that informing the public on why certain products increased due to a tax, are labeled "a hostile act". Just think about that. How is it a hostile act, to put the added tax as a seperate item on someones bill?

And for everyone on here that compares this with inflation caused by supply chain issues or companies raising there prices... what are you talking about? None of that money went to the governement. Even the inflation due to supply chain issues, goes directly to the company. It's not a tax, it's a private business setting prices. But a tariff? That doesn't go to the business, that's something you as a customer are paying extra because of a political descision. And neither the governement nor the MAGA-zombie-squad, want you to be informed about that.

@Kwek00 So we must return to the old ways, right?

Since he has been in office this year it has cost $300M for him to play golf.
